We are running 2 pre-Christmas workshops to learn the Japanese art of furoshiki wrapping: using fabric to create stunning, sustainable, reusable wrapping.

We are thrilled to be welcoming Dr Glenda Cooper to Only Make Believe to lead an adults' creative writing workshop.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginner and more experienced writers alike.

Places are limited so booking is essential.

'DA' has been a huge hit with the Only Make Believe book club and we are thrilled to be hosting Arathi Menon at our bookshop on Monday 27th July to talk about bringing Da to the page and to read from the novel itself.

Sunday 7th june

Sarah Lipton, debut author of 'Sophia Starr and a Dog to Love' will be running a free event for children aged 7-11 years. She will read extracts from her book and talk all things dogs and writing.

Friday 5th june

We are hosting a free trial class for Singing Sprouts a popular music class for babies 6 months -18 months. We would love to make this a permanent fixture at Only Make Believe.
