Yes, our main literary fiction shelves are ordered by colour, because of the the aesthetic. We are such a small shop that it doesn't impact us being able to find a specific book.
Our genre shelves; historical, gothic and fantasy are ordered alphabetically.
In addition to this featured authors whose works we just cannot separate; Fredrik Backman, Elif Shafak, John Boyne, Kristen Hannah etc are on the circular book shelves.
Oh yes. I love sourcing the kind of bookish gifts that I would love to receive myself from travel mugs to figurines; reading pins and enchanted library candles; simple board games to stationery and a plethora of bookmarks.
We do not sell online, yet, but you can order specific titles by emailing jude@onlymakebelieve.co.uk and collect them from the shop.
